HXAR.io operates two apps under Meta Home Limited: HxAR (our worldwide augmented reality app) and AccountsSystem (HxAR Books) (a UK-only business management app). This Privacy Policy explains how both apps protect your information, with shared principles first and app-specific differences outlined below.

1. Information We Collect (Shared)

  • Apple User ID (from Sign-In with Apple; not publicly shared)
  • Public Username (chosen by you; publicly visible)
  • Optional Profile Details (display name, business name, contact info, website, company number, avatar image)
  • User-generated content (e.g. AR objects, jobs, invoices) as created within the apps
  • Basic app usage data (feature use, interactions)
  • Diagnostic data (crash reports, performance logs)

Optional details, if provided, are publicly visible inside the relevant app. HXAR.io does not track, sell, or analyze this information outside its intended purpose.

2. How We Use Your Information (Shared)

  • To manage accounts securely via Apple ID
  • To support app features, content creation, and data storage
  • To maintain moderation, compliance, and user safety
  • To improve app reliability and fix issues

3. Data Sharing & Tracking (Shared)

We do not sell personal data. Limited data is shared only with essential services:

  • Apple iCloud CloudKit – for secure storage and authentication
  • Firebase – for crash reporting and app diagnostics

HXAR.io does not track users across third-party apps or websites and does not use Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency framework.

4. Account Deletion & Your Rights (Shared)

You may permanently delete your account and all related data directly in-app via: Your Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account.

You also have the right to request access, correction, or erasure of your data by contacting us. For verification, we may request your Apple ID or username. We comply with GDPR and similar regulations.

5. App-Specific Details

HxAR (Worldwide AR App)

  • Geolocation: used for map placement, collectibles, and sponsored locations. Location data is not sold or tracked outside the app.
  • AR Content: user-generated 3D assets, placements, and scenes are stored securely and may be shared publicly if you choose.
  • Community Features: usernames and optional profiles are visible in AR spaces for collaboration and attribution.

AccountsSystem (HxAR Books, UK-only)

  • Business Records: includes jobs, invoices, client details, and worker assignments, all created and managed by the business user.
  • Client Information: may include name, addresses, phone, and email if entered for job or invoice purposes. Clients can also self-register with a profile.
  • Financial Data: invoices, expenses, VAT numbers, and receipts are stored securely for business use only and are never shared with third parties.
